DETAILS OF DAVALIA
The genus Davallia is formed by about 40 species of ferns originating from different places such as the Mediterranean basin, tropical Asia, Australia, the Canary Islands, Malaysia or Polynesia. They are ferns with rhizomatous and flaky roots that can be epiphytic. The fronds (leaves) are bright green and triangular in shape. They can reach more than 50 cm high. It does not produce flowers.
Common or vulgar name: Rabbit Paw fern, Rabbit leg fern or Davalia.
Scientific name: Davallia canariensis.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Indoor hardy plant.
Temperature: between 15 and 25ºC.
Light: minimum of 6h indirect light a day. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Irrigation: 1 irrigation/week.
