54€ for sustainability
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected above all in our choice of materials. At CitySens we are committed to promoting the circular economy: the main component of our products is recycled plastic of Spanish origin.

Of the 21 components of the vertical planter, 17 are of Spanish production and there are only 4 components that we import from outside Europe because we have not been able to find them from local suppliers. However, we are always on the move, looking for new local, sustainable and accessible suppliers. In fact, next year we will start manufacturing locally a new part of the vertical planter.

The cost of materials represents 32% of the total cost of the product. Did you know that in many products made with low quality materials, the product cost is less than 15%? They manufacture with low cost to increase their profits. On the contrary we dedicate 32% of the cost to materials, to offer a fair price to suppliers and thus boost local industry.

69€ for salaries
Our business works thanks to people. The foundations for people with different capacities which we collaborate with help us in the assembly and packaging of the products. The CitySens team is in charge of product design, order management, communication, customer service, etc. Behind each product there is a great implication of the CitySens team and the Foundations, that is why 41% is dedicated to decent, equal and fair salaries in order to recognize the work and effort invested.

31€ for supplies and logistics
We include in this category the logistics and supply costs for the operation of the company.
Transportation costs have risen a lot lately and they already represent 11% of the total cost of the product. In addition, as in any company, we have fixed and recurring costs to pay: rent, supplies, services and materials for the daily operation of the company. We spend approximately 7% on recurring supply costs.

We were born to bring nature and plants closer to people who live in the city and do not have enough time or space to take care of them. Our mission is to offer practical and modular products that adapt to their daily life and, at the same time, contribute to a sustainable consciousness of plant care. That is why we invest every euro of our profits in innovation and project improvement processes. In this way, we are committed to the growth of the CitySens project in order to continue offering new innovative products with social and sustainability values.
