Ideal temperature: the maximum and minimum temperatures should be between 16 and 21 degrees. During the winter season, the ideal would be to maintain a minimum temperature of about 13º and maximum of 16º. Below 10 degrees, the plant will succumb.
Light: the calatea appreciates a moderate light exposure, always avoiding direct sun.
Humidity: high humidity. Increase the humidity by spraying it regularly.
Irrigation: always keep the soil moist with regular waterings: twice a week in summer and once in winter. If its leaves have curled edges, they are indicating that there is a lack of watering. But beware, flooding can cost you your life.
Nutrients: during the spring and summer months, add every 15 days or so. Follow instructions for CitySens organic nutrients.
Substrate: the soil must drain properly and be rich in humus and minerals.
Trasplant: the best time to do this is in early spring.
