Break the vicious cycle: stop buying plants just to watch them die

Every few months, the same story repeats itself: you fall in love with a plant, buy it with excitement, maybe even invest in new pots to repot it… and for a few weeks, everything goes well. But then work gets hectic, you forget to water it, and one day, as you walk past, you notice something’s wrong. The plant has wilted. Here we go again.

Know your space and your needs
That’s why our first tip is: know your space and your needs well, and choose plants that suit both. Not all plants are the same, and they don’t all have the same needs. Ask for advice and choose quality plants grown responsibly in local nurseries. This way, you avoid stress during transport and reduce their carbon footprint.
.
Create a visible green corner
A tip that works really well for us is to create a plant corner in a bright and very visible area of your home. If it's a space you walk through often, even better. That way, you'll see your plants several times a day and naturally pay more attention to them. This small green corner will become one of your favourite spots at home — a space to care for your plants and for yourself.

Consistent watering made easy
Finally, it’s always good to learn from experience: if you have a well-lit plant corner but struggle with consistent watering, self-watering systems can help you break the cycle of buying and throwing away plants. With a little help, you’ll become the plant expert in your group of friends without even trying.
