CREATE YOUR URBAN GARDEN INSPIRED BY FRENCH PROVENCE
This spring travel to Provence and create your own urban garden. The CitySens shelf fits in any corner and is ideal for growing aromatic plants at home in an ecological way, avoiding pesticides. Also, if you have children at home, having a garden brings them closer to nature and familiarizes them with the growth process of the plants that are part of their diet.
Provencal herbs are one of the most used spice combinations in international cuisine and this is due to their excellent flavor and magnificent aroma. Ideal for dressing grills, stews, roasts, pasta, vegetables or even salads. What plants are included in the pack?
Thyme: it is a perennial and resistant plant, perfect for stews. Its leaves are oval in shape and the flowers are pink and white. This plant has multiple medicinal properties since it is antiseptic, digestive stimulant, antirheumatic and prevents anemia.
Oregano: much more than a condiment for pizza. Its name means "the joy of the mountain." It has been used in natural remedies for thousands of years and is essential in Mediterranean cuisine. It pairs very well in salad dressings or with cheeses, meats and eggs. It can be used fresh, but the aroma of its leaves intensifies with drying. Like other herbs, oregano loses its flavor with cooking, so it is best to add it at the end of the preparation.
Rosemary:it is the easiest aromatic plant to take care of of all and the one that is less spiky and ugly. You can plant it both on the balcony or terrace and in very sunny interiors. It requires little care and adapts well to all environments, but prefers them warm and dry. Don't let it puddle. Water it only when the soil is dry.
Lavender: it is appreciated not only for its delicate and unmistakable perfume but also for its therapeutic virtues. The violet and blue colors are responsible for transporting you to the fields of French Provence. Lavender invites calm and relaxation, ideal for interior decoration or to add color to any part of the garden.
