Maranta is a tropical plant with colorful leaves that requires bright spaces with high humidity. Under these conditions it grows throughout the year. These plants stand out for the movement of their leaves at night and during the day: during the day they open and at night they fold. Its bright colors give great vitality to the space where they are located.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Ideal temperature: Ideally, it should be between 15º C and 25º C.
Light: a very bright place in the home, avoiding the hottest areas of the house, since excess heat causes the plant to finish its cycle sooner. The ideal is to locate them next to a north-facing window, so that they receive a lot of light, but never direct sun.
Irrigation: It must be moderate, since an excess of humidity in the earth will cause rottenness in the roots. We recommend watering once a week.
Nutrients: Follow directions for CitySens nutrients.
Substrate: The substrate must have good drainage and be well aerated.
