DETAILS OF THE BOSTON FERN
Nephrolepis in Greek means scaly-shaped scales and refers to the envelope that covers the sporangia. This genus gathers about 30 species of ferns, some terrestrial and other epiphytes, from tropical and subtropical regions, including Japan and New Zealand. The fronds of the Curly Fern are long, lanceolate and arched with an elegant fall to the ground in many cases. On the underside it has rounded soros covered with a cornered wrap.
Common or vulgar name: Boston swordfern, wild Boston fern, Boston Fern, Boston Blue Bell Fern, tuber ladder fern or fishbone fern.
Scientific name: Nephrolepis exaltata.

Indoor hardy plant.
Temperature: between 15 and 25ºC.
Light: minimum of 6h indirect light a day. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
